Melbourne's west is one of the fastest-growing corridors in the country, and it drives like it. Wyndham and Melton households run long daily distances, out to work, back for school, across to the shops, on a road network that funnels almost everything through a handful of very busy arterials. For a moving ad that combination is close to ideal: high kilometres, repeated on the same corridors, in front of the same local audience day after day.
It is also a market that traditional outdoor advertising serves badly. Billboard inventory in the west is thin and concentrated on the freeway, which reaches people leaving the area rather than living in it.
